It provides extremely smooth and agile driving in indoor environments. To further enhance its robustness, AgileX has added 4 Mecanum wheels to this robot. Thanks to this improvement, the maximum payload of the Scout Mini has increased from 10 to 50 kg.

This new feature has a dual benefit: on the one hand, it allows the Scout Mini to be used as a true autonomous transport vehicle, and on the other hand, it significantly increases the equipment possibilities of this mobile robot. Developing on a ROS mobile robotics platform

With its 50 kg payload, the AgileX Scout Mini becomes a very versatile mobile robotic platform, compatible with ROS (Robot Operating System). You can think of many peripherals to embed on your Scout Mini to equip it according to your needs: a robotic arm, a weather station, LiDAR laser rangefinders, inertial measurement units (IMU), a display screen, etc.

The possibilities are endless and greatly facilitated by the Scout Mini's CAN/RS232 interface. This not only allows for optimal monitoring of navigation data, but also the addition of additional robotic equipment.
