Create3 is the new iRobot that allows you to understand the principles of a robot vacuum cleaner, by introducing you to programming on the Python environment, and on the basis of the RobotOperatingSystem2 (ROS2) system for advanced users (in Python and C++). Its front panel, to be removed to access the connection mode (Bluetooth or USB), allows you to add and assemble different systems such as robotic arms, camera modules, different types of sensors or even a RaspberryPi!

The robot is equipped with two wheel encoders to move freely, and several programmable sensors allowing it to locate itself in space (gyroscope, odometer), to detect obstacles (infrared distance sensor, "bumper" type detectors), as well as programmable RGB LEDs. For beginners, the robot is compatible with the iRobotCodingApp software, to program in Python language interpreted in blocks to assemble (Scratch type).
