Compatible with third-party hardware
The RoboMaster EP Core supports third-party open-source hardware such as Micro:bit, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. These can be connected and powered via serial ports on the chassis’ main controller. The EP Core can also perform type training and scene recognition via AI platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Nano and DJI’s official SDK, improving students’ understanding of AI working principles.
Compatible with third-party sensors
The RoboMaster EP Core comes equipped with four sensor adapters, making it easy to connect and power third-party sensors that measure data like temperature, pressure, distance, and more. Sensor data can even be used in Scratch, opening up endless programming possibilities.
Sensor adapter module and power connection Each sensor adapter has two ports and provides power. A power connector module can connect and power third-party hardware, providing multiple ports to connect hardware and create custom programs and applications.
Robotic arm The EP Core robotic arm is incredibly durable, yet compact and flexible. It supports precise FPV control, allowing students to complete tasks even when target objects are out of sight. Pliers The gripper transforms the EP Core into a powerful robot with multiple functions. Its practical structural design and adjustable gripping force enable it to firmly and reliably grasp and move objects of different shapes, weights and sizes. Mecanum Wheels The EP Core is equipped with four Mecanum wheels, each with 12 rollers that allow for omnidirectional movement and precision control. The front axle suspension allows for increased adaptability during operation. High performance servo A propulsion driver for the EP Core, the servo supports custom control capabilities using the EP Core's main control board. It ensures high control precision and large output torque. It can also power the robotic arm and allows students to build lifting structures using their knowledge of physics.
Smart controller With a powerful processor, the intelligent controller can simultaneously support functions such as low-latency high-definition image transmission, AI calculation and programming development. It also coordinates the transmission transparently to execute the control signals. Infrared distance sensor With a measuring range of 0,1 to 10 meters, the infrared distance sensor provides accurate distance measurements. This allows the EP Core to sense its surroundings and avoid obstacles, while deepening students' understanding of advanced autonomous driving principles. High performance engine The EP Core is equipped with a custom motor with an output torque of 250 mN•m. Linear Hall effect sensors with advanced algorithms enable closed-loop control for greater precision. Additional safety mechanisms provide exceptional stability. Model depending on arrival.
