SentiV is a scouting robot that highlights variability within large crop plots and detects potential threats to vegetation. Being in contact with the ground, we are talking about proximity detection.

SentiV is dedicated to professionals in the agricultural world

A tool for improving practices for farmers, an advisory solution for cooperatives and businesses, or an essential element for optimizing phenotyping on experimental plots.


The information collected is highlighted in variability maps, allowing the farmer to manage his operation on a daily basis and with precision by modulating the inputs on his plots.
We are developing SentiV for players in the agricultural world. Our objectives are better profitability of the farm (savings on inputs, improvement of yields and crop quality), a good quality of life for the farmer (time savings and working comfort), and preservation of the environment (reduction of inputs and soil compaction).

Autonomous navigation

Once in place, SentiV detects where it has been dropped and moves without an operator nearby. The plot is traveled and analyzed in its entirety, covering up to 20 hectares per day.

Scouting - Data collection

The robot has two cameras that scan above and below the foliage. In the long term, we plan to add other sensors depending on the types of data to be detected.

modularity

In order to adapt to the type of plants studied and to monitor crop growth, we have made SentiV a modular robot: width, height and movement mode are adjustable.

Accuracy of the readings

Unlike existing remote sensing services, the images captured by the SentiV sensor provide greater detail than what the human eye can see on the plot.
In addition, the robot also scans under the plant cover (underside of leaves and soil).

Preservation of cultures

A robot that does not damage crops, this was the guiding motive for the development of SentiV. In addition to its lightness (15kg), SentiV moves thanks to a unique and innovative wheel system in order to avoid the deterioration of vegetation and soil compaction.

Obtaining qualified information

The data collected is analyzed by artificial intelligence algorithms to identify the presence of bioaggressors: weeds, diseases, and pests (invertebrates, birds, mammals).
