Ned2: accessible collaborative robotics that challenges the imagination

Ned2 is a six-axis collaborative robot, based on open source technologies. Designed for educational use, it allows you to automate tasks and provide training in businesses and technological sectors.
Successor to Ned, he is more robust. Multiple improvements allow users to go even further in understanding and using collaborative robotics: human-machine interaction is perfected to promote the clarity of messages sent by the robot.

Design of our autonomous robot

Designed with the same aluminum structure as Ned, Ned2 continues to meet your requirements in terms of robustness, precision (0,5 mm) and repeatability (0,5 mm).
The improvement of the overall aesthetic led us to develop a product with shells made of plastic injection, thus reducing its net weight and improving its robustness and finishes.

Following the path of its predecessor, Ned2 is the ideal cobot to meet your diverse needs in terms of prototyping industry 4.0-oriented applications.

Ned2 is based on Ubuntu 18.04 and ROS Melodic and benefits from the capabilities of Raspberry PI 4, a high performance 64-bit ARM V8 processor and 4GB of RAM.
